The Seungkum Center began to think beyond farming and, with HIHF support established an art program that teaches the children Khmer dance, instruments, and drawing. Wisely, it allows for the education of both the children at the orphanage and the neighboring village children, encouraging a kind of healthy integration. The children seem to have a natural inclination toward the arts and have begun performing one evening a week at one of the hotels.
